BIO

Regarded as one of the top jazz artists in Latin America (George Varga, San-Diego Union-Tribune), award-winning international recording artist Julia Vari immediately commands the stage with her sultry yet powerful vocals, uplifting and playful personality, and creative stylings on the piano. Equally at home with jazz, pop, Latin, world rhythms and Broadway, Vari is a true entertainer who knows how to capture hearts and create unforgettable memories through music, and her shows range from an intimate piano-vocal one-woman show to a Big Band extravaganza, and everything in-between. She performs in eight languages and delivers with energy and style, astounding and enchanting audiences with an extraordinary voice that can impeccably weave through different music genres and bring to life exciting and unique versions of everyone’s favorite tunes, as well as her own original music.
A recent Hollywood Music in Media nominee and a proud GRAMMY Recording Academy voting member, this multilingual singer-songwriter and pianist has toured extensively through the U.S., Canada, Latin America, and Europe and has recorded five solo albums, two of which hit the Top 5 on the jazz-blues charts in Latin America, competing with artists such as Michael Bublé and Diana Krall.
Vari has performed at the most prestigious festivals and theaters around the world, including performances at the Mexico City’s National Auditorium “Lunario,” the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Real Carlos Theater in Spain, Eclectic Music Festival in Los Angeles, and the CLAZZ International Latin Jazz Festival. She has collaborated and shared the stage with musical icons such as Arturo Sandoval, Armando Manzanero, Luciana Souza, Francisco Cespedes, Negroni's Trio, Otmaro Ruiz, John Daversa, Charlie Sepúlveda, Harry Aponte, Oscar Zambrano, Oscar Autie, and Robert Hadley. Vari also performs as a headliner for luxury cruise lines.
Currently based in Miami, Vari is a voting member of the GRAMMY Recording Academy, BMI songwriter, William Morris Endeavor voiceover artist, and a headliner/Guest Entertainer on luxury cruise lines.
